Ever hear rumors that a certain town or city has assigned its officers a number of tickets they must write every month?
Well, that’s now illegal in Illinois!
Governor Quinn signed a law the other day banning that.
According to this CBS News Report, that means police departments can’t compare how many tickets one officer wrote to how many another one wrote.
While, it sounds good, don’t get cocky while you’re out driving!
They are still writing tickets, so drive safely!
